My name is Wojciech Czak, I am an eye specialist and hold the title of European specialist - Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO). In my work I mainly focus on anterior eye surgery and oculoplastics.
I graduated from the Wroclaw Medical University in 2015. Immediately after graduation, I started my specialisation and doctoral studies at the Department of Ophthalmology, Wroclaw Medical University, where I also worked didactically and scientifically from 2015 to 2023.
After defending my doctoral thesis entitled: ‘Evaluation of scleral sieve lamina depth - applications in clinical practice’, I was awarded a doctoral degree in ophthalmology.
I am the author of many articles and presentations at ophthalmology conferences, and I have also taught courses and training in blepharoplasty.

Today I have in my treatment portfolio:
more than 2,000 oculoplastic procedures
more than 200 cataract surgeries
Treatments performed:
-
The standard method of cataract removal is phacoemulsification. The procedure involves removing the contents of the cloudy lens: the nucleus, cortex and implanting an artificial lens. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia as a one-day procedure.
It is one of the most frequently performed surgical procedures. In Poland, approximately 240,000 such procedures are performed annually.
-
Blepharoplasty is a procedure to remove excess skin and fatty hernias. Fatty hernias are nothing more than orbital fat tissue protruding through the orbital septum.
-
Lower eyelid plasty involves the removal of excess flabby skin and fatty hernias from the lower eyelids. Fatty hernias are nothing more than orbital fatty tissue protruding outwards through a loose orbital septum.
